The activities will center around games, art, sports, songs, dance, music, and traditions of interest from all around the globe. The first week will concentrate on Europe and the Americas while the second week will zero in on Asian and Russian traditions.
They’ll learn so much in such a fun way, like why do the Swedes feel they need to protect the gavle goat statue throughout the season? Who is Krampus in Austria, and what does this evil character have to do with Christmas? Why do Norwegians hide their brooms at Christmas? What is a beautiful Filipino parol and how do you make one? And what is fast becoming the traditional Japanese Christmas meal?
