Ekaterina Soyuznova is a highly accomplished illustrator whose work spans live-action and animated film. She has applied her skills to a number of award-winning projects. Over the last few years, her work has been featured by leading media outlets including Promax Awards, Animation World Network, Post Magazine, AnimationXpress, Broadway World, The Connector, Endless Ink Books, and Women and Hollywood. She has collaborated with world-famous artists including three-time Grammy award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson and Director Richard Schenkman.
She is a graduate of the SCAD and UAL colleges with a Master’s Illustration degree. Ekaterina Soyuznova has a wide range of skills and keeps working both as a visual development artist and storyboarder for animation and live-action productions.
And this Friday 29th at Rawai park school, She will perform a character design workshop and talk about the creative steps needed for achieving a great design.
In this workshop, we will be focusing primarily on Character Design, which falls within the category of Visual Development typically in animated productions, film and television projects, and video games.
For those who may not be focused on a career as a Character Designer/Artist, knowledge within this workshop can still be applied to illustration work and benefit those who wish to gain a better understanding of how to create interesting and energetic characters.
The workshop will have basic theory explained along with in-class tasks that will be performed by students along with a teacher.
