Odd Socks Day will be celebrated this year at Rawai Park School on the 10th of December. It is organized by the Anti-Bullying Alliance which is a group of organizations, charities, and individuals who work together to try and stop bullying.
What's Odd Socks Day all about?
Students are encouraged to wear their favorite odd socks (yes, this means picking out a pair that don't match!).
It's to symbolize that we are all different and that children should be themselves, accepting of one another, and celebrate difference.
What are the origins of Odd Socks Day?
The Anti-Bullying Alliance started Odd Socks Day in 2017. School packs and a song/music video by Andy and the Odd Socks have been created each year.
This event has more than five million children celebrating each year alongside celebrities such as Ant and Dec, Victoria Beckham, Anne-Marie, Craig David, and Emma Willis.
