Rhythmic poems. I designed these classes because I saw that in general students weren’t interested in poetry. They thought learning poems by heart was boring. When I combined working on the rhythm and poetry, my students found this combination exciting! They love our classes and they say they don’t even notice how easily and fast they remember poems! Their memory improves, and they feel more confident.

These classes also help my students develop their acting skills. It’s so rewarding to see how my students’ talents evolve, how proud they feel that they know quite a lot of poems (a rare thing nowadays!). We work a lot on pronunciation and articulation which helps my students immensely when they have to make presentations in public. Making a speech is scary for a lot of people, but most of my students say they are not afraid of speaking in public. I am really happy with my students’ progress at Rawai Park School!
